Sea Stars Apartments, Dahab
Sea Stars are a group of 6 stylish, self-catering apartments set in a beautiful planted garden in the Eel Garden area of Dahab. One minute from the beach and Red Sea Reef, they are the perfect base for exploring all Dahab has to offer.
Our plan when designing the apartments was to create an extremely practical ‘home from home’ for our guests without sacrificing style for function or vice versa. To achieve this we took the simple clean lines of the building as our inspiration, used natural materials and locally sourced crafts in combination with some beautiful Islamic detailing to create the comfortable, practical and stylish interiors.
Each apartment consists of two twin/ king size double bedrooms, a modern wet room bathroom and a spacious open plan living area with a fully equipped fitted kitchen. Crisp 100% Egyptian cotton linen and towels help to make your nights sleep that little bit more comfortable. Our aim is for your relaxation to start the moment you arrive – to this end we provide a welcome pack of essential foodstuffs and a sample of the local beer. Local shops and restaurants, including an off licence and a wonderful bakery, are just 2 minutes away so it is very easy to keep stocked up and there is no need to cook unless you want to.
Our rooftop ‘Arishas’ (sunshade with bedouin style cushioned seating, sunloungers and hammocks) are a favourite feature of our guests. Shared between a block of two apartments, with stunning panoramic views of the Red Sea, Dahab and the mountains they are a great place to spend time with a book, drink or shisha pipe and relax into your holiday – also great for birdwatching!
The garden is often described by our guests as an Oasis, immaculately maintained by the wonderful Abdu, with mature trees and colourful bedding plants it is a great place to enjoy a barbeque after a hard days sunbathing.
The apartments were completed in 1997 and since then, as can be seen from our reviews, many satisfied guests have come to stay. We welcome all guests and have special provisions for those travelling with children – toys, cots, baths, monitors, car seats and bikes are all provided free of charge. We also have Sea Kayaks available for your use free of charge.
